The #52 tractor trailer or just plain four-wheel wagon as I would call it, has the channel-style frame rails on each side instead of the center coupling pole. The two I have both are equipped with the pivots for a dump bed on them. I have not seen a factory flat bed, so can't advise you on that. Most of the ones were equipped with the factory metal "barge" style bed where you could remove the sides and ends and have a flat bed. These had the "McCormick" decal on the sides. I built 14 foot wooden flat beds for mine with a hydraulic clyinder for the dump. I have a brochure on the #52, but can't put my hands on it right now. But I believe they were produced in the early 1950's. You'll like it; they are a good wagon.
