No it is not the same. They are quite alike but do have some differences. The C has a 113 CI engine that is cooled by the thermal siphon system which has no water pump. The 140 has a 123 CI engine that has a water pump and a pressurized cooling system. They will fit in either tractor with minor modifications. The 140 engine will fit in your C and have a little more power.
