You don't have to get a stuck one, or one that needs much engine work at all. There are quite a few listed in photo ads here that supposedlt run pretty good for right around $1000, a few for less. If you 14 someone might cut you some slack to see a kid doing something positive with your time.I think a stuck one you should be able to get for next to nothing, a couple hundred bucks.

But if I were you, I'd get a decent running one. And by the time you save 8 or $900, it would be easy to save a few hundred more and get a really decent one. You can get a really nice one for well under $2,000.
