Floyd: Eastsider is correct, there were two sizes. I suspect the heavier spindle with larger bearing came about as a result of incerased loader use in the 40s and 50s. If the CaseIH partsman doesn't want to cooperate, go to a bearing store. Have exact measurments of splinles where bearing fit on and take along the old cones from the wheel. 9 tims out of 10, he'll have you out the door in 10 minutes with new bearings. Better still have the old bearings along with the cone. Even if he doesn't have them, my guess is he will have them in 24 hours. Either way I'll bet you'll have same quality bearings for a lot less money.
