F-20's rely on splash lubrication for the connecting rods. It is NOT a pressurized crankshaft as in modern engines. A low pressure oil pump pulls oil from the sump, thru the filter, then down thru three external tubes to lube the forward & aft crank ball bearing, cam shaft gears, and also fill a galley that fills little banana-shaped trays under each lower connecting rod for the lower bearing cap to splash thru. Take one of the crank case covers off then start & idle the engine. You can see the system operating then. Not much oil will splash out at a slow idle.

10 psi is lots. Don't forget to oil the rocker arm tray each morning though!
