Mike, I suggested to CaseIH in 1990 about building new Super C's as there was a big demand for them here in tobacco country at the time. They told me then that it wasn't possible due to many of the reasons you mentioned. It is illegal now to even build a new tricycle front tractor. The emissions standards are the biggest reason the new CaseIH tractors now have Perkins engines in the smaller ones as IH could not get their engines to pass emission standards. A woman high on drugs wrecked an International school bus loaded with children here in Ky while back and now the parents of some of the injured kids are sueing International Truck and Engine over it. I guess those petty fogging lawyers knew they couldn't get anything from the driver so chose to go after International. The woman was sentenced to 22 years in jail last week.
