Don: A 656 front wheel was not an IH wheel. They came standard from factory with 7.50x16 tires on a 6" rim. My 560 and 656 both had the same wheel. About the same time as I bought those tractors, I also bought two 8 ton non IH wagons that came with the same wheel. That wheel had very wide usage in the 60s and 70s. Once I had that many of those wheels around, I bought a spare wheel 7 tire, and it served for both tractors and both wagons. If you want exactly as originals, call Miller Tire, ask them for 6 hole, 6" bolt circle, 6x16 size, +1-1/4 offset. Those are the exact specs of a 656 front wheel. By the way Miller's price for a new rim is $54.00. You can even ask Millers for 4.5x16, they are $52. and the offset is +1-1/8. I have a set of those with 6.50x16 tires, and tires match rims perfectly.
One other item, if you look at used wheels, all 6 bolt wheels from every 40-60 series, 04-06 series and 56 series will bolt right up to your hubs. Even the rims used on 140 and 240 will bolt to your 656, they were all 6 bolt, 6" bolt circle.
