The coupler is normal thread, you will need to "jam" the fins with something like a large brass punch or flat stock. It will then unscrew.
When I did mine I used a large punch that just fit in the slot on the coupler and tapped it loose.
Do a search for "belly pump" in the Farmal forums for more ideas.
