Al L. is right. You have to take advantage of the features that E-Bay and outfits like Pay-Pal offer for security. I"ve been buying stuff on E-Bay for years. So far, knock on wood, I"ve never been stiffed, but I DID have to use their arbitration/intervention process once. There are a lot of scams on E-Bay and they can"t seem to stay ahead of them. You get so you can recognize the danger signals. I know lots of folks consider proxy sites like Pay-Pal are risky, but they do offer some safeguards. Most problems seem to occur when the seller insists on cash, which leaves you with limited recourse. ....and NEVER wire someone the payment! "Buyer beware" was around long before E-Bay, but its never been truer! Paul
