It does sounds like that. I don't have a hand crank yet, but ordered one last week. (should be in tomorrow) I haven't done the compression check yet. I should do that before pulling the valve cover. It certainly sounds like it should be running. I've spent close to 2 weeks workin with it. Brand new starter, battery cables, starter switch... I'll try the compression test tomorrow and let you all know.
