It depends on whether you have a magneto or a distributer. Switches on tractors with mags only have one screw contact. Switches on tractors with distributers have two contact screws. Let us know which one you have. As far as where the switch is mounted, the normal place in on a bracket mounted to the steering column post to the right of the throttle. It sits vertical with the knob of the switch pointing up.
