Patrick: The offset tractors are quite comfortable with 500-600 lbs. Another factor to consider, it depends how far back from hitching point the implement extends. Tandem disks are in this catergory, lot of weight in those back gangs. I have a rotary hoe, must be close to 800 lbs., however the weight is all within 2' of the 1 point fast hitching point. 8 to 10 foot boom poles are out, probably do well to lift 100lbs., 10' back.
