I just completed rebuilding my first engine, it's on a 1941 Farmall H. Got it all back together and it fired right up. Only thing is, it won't 'smooth' out. All 4 plugs are firing. Has new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, points, condensor. I didn't rebuild the carb since it was/is in excellent working condition. New sleeves, pistons, rings, and a complete head job. I set the tappet clearance at .017 and the points at .020 I can advance and retard the timing until it begins to stall, but there is no location inbetween where it runs smoothly. I have an even 88lbs compression across the board. I am really beginning to get frustrated, and would greatly appreciate any fresh ideas or insights that you all may have. Thanks! Aaron
