Farmall B - Valves

I did these tonight.... .017 hot. Valve adjustment is pretty easy but it makes someone like me feel pretty mechanical! My hiccup at mid to high RPM's is gone. I have never heard an engine run so sweet (after I was done with it). It also idles a little better. I drove it around a long time and REALLY like the sound of it under power. The idle is not right though. I have a lot to check. Air filter, fuel screens, maybe have a tinker with the idle adjustment if everything else is OK. Anything else on the list, let me know. Alternator goes in tomorrow. It fires right up to 20 amps but within a minute or two there is no reading at all on the gauge. Can't hurt to have it looked at. Guess I am not asking much except maybe help with the idle if you think of anything. Thanks again!
