Hi Greg, many years ago had a B414 Diesel do the same thing and it was leaking around the joint between metal bowl and tank. IH replaced tank no charge but we had to do the labour. Have to remove steering wheel to remove fuel tank.
Also have had a small crack in fuel line at the joint where the steel line goes into the banjo fitting on the side of that metal bowl. It is a real pain to remove that banjo fitting. If your tractor has the original British banjo fittings the nut size is 17/32 of an inch. 1/2 inch wrench to small and 9/16 inch to big. Later models had 9/16 inch nuts. Don't forget the brass washers for the banjo fitting.
