the motor was rebuilt last winter it was burning a quart of oil everytime you put out hay. before rebuild it would take a shot to get it going the first time then after it was warmed up it would start without ether. but now you can run it all day then go to crank it and it won't start unless you spray ether to it.it smokes just a little as you crank it with no ether. and after you get it started it will run like it was made to.the guy that rebuilt motor moved the throttle linkage so it kills it about an inch up from slow, it used to kill it on slow and crank 1/2 way over. but now you have to move the throttle all the way over to right on high to crank it. the injector pump has had nothing done to it for twenty years. thanks
