my 1950 md has 1 battery under the seat. i was told it was an option, but they first came out with the 2 sixes hooked together to make 12 v. I don't know if my 1950 came with 2 batterys or not. but it is sure nice having it under the seat. jonnny2006.....it has power steer and the m@w 9 speed that enters thru the side of the tranny in front of the brake pedels. i know older ones had a cable thru the top. I'm still waiting on my roof to get put on my quansit, so i can fix a gear in the front of the engine, As the mag isent getting power from the front of the engine. The constant rain is keeping crews from putting on my roof.
