Don't know where your at but here in N.E. Ohio we run the 30W year round with no problems and the 706 gets run everyday , and it sets on the barn floor year round we have no starting problems at anytime as long as ya have a good battery and the engine is in tune. In winter weather it gets extra warm up time before use like 10-15 min. Been running a 706 gasser since 1980 so i sorta know all the quarks with them .
