The 100 dollar SC had a nasty looking top link mount. This is what it looked like. These are arms that bolt to the Axel housing. They were not real good and moved around a lot. No way to get them tight enough.
I decided I need to do something different. Here is what I have now.
I made the plate out of 1/4" steel. The eyes are 1/4" thick Hammermill hammers. I used the stock bolts to put it in place and the top bolts are 1/4"x5" I put 1/4" pipe in between the plate and the seat. The pipe is to keep it from flexing at all.
Question, how much can I lift using this? The way the old one worked this one is much less able to move around.
The most I would lift is a brush hog, blade, and maybe a corrugator. Ron
