If you want info on the B tractor just post your question here. First you need the serial number to date the tractor. B's were built between 1939 and 1947, so it couldn't be a 48. The serial number will be on a metal tag, located on the underside of the seat on the left hand seat mouting bracket.It is also on a flat spot on the front right side of the engine block, right under the number one spark plug. It could have been built at the Rock Island Farmall works plant or the Tractor works plant in Louisville.
