Well I took your advice and went to town today to get new plugs. I pulled out the old one's and out of 4 cylinders only two of the plugs had the same number. D 16 Y, 2 of them. Then a D 15 and a D 18 Y. So at the parts counter I tell the man I want 4 of D 21 Y. He says his book doesn't show this or cross reference to anything else. He was able to cross reference a D21 (no Y) to an A.C. number though which came up a C87. Will these work? I bought 4 of them. The spark ends look a little different and the old D18Y stuck out just a little farther. Second question. I bought a new heat gauge for it. Everytime in the past as a kid when Dad bought a clunker for parts and I'd try to take the old gauges out of the dash I'd tear them up to the point of no return. What's a secret to taking out the old gauge with destroying it completely? Or is there a secret besides holding your tongue right? I'd like to put the new gauge in the existing one's hole even though it's an aftermarket. Thanks again Richie
