Well I went ahead and put the A.C.'s in and she purrs like a kitty now. I also got a new muffler for it because the bottom was rusted out on the old one and it was about to gas me out toodling around with it. I got the new heat gauge in as well back in the original hole. No biggie after you take the proper nuts and holding plate off. Ran her out of the shop and filled the feed wagon and she's run the best this evening that she's ever ran since I owned her. I never thought plugs would make that much of a difference!!! I did learn one thing tonite finishing up though. I now know why I see so many of those tractors running around with out the side hoods put back on. Mine were the biggest challenge today trying to get the holes lined up and bolts all back in. Not to mention some of those nut holders fell out. I finally got about 4 bolts in each side to hold so I could fill the feed wagon before dark. I'll finish that part when I get more time Thanks everyone for the help. Richie Oh yea, 1.37 a piece for plugs, 23.00 for the heat gauge, 22.00 dollars for the muffler. Experience and satisfaction......Priceless!!!

To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
