This is everything that I have done / checked.

Pulled the fuel line off the carb to check if gas was flowing into it… It is

Cleaned out the bowl of the carburetor and opened the drain on the bottom of the bowl … Got Gas.

Pulled off the valve cover, cranked the engine … all valves moving

Re-gapped / filed the points … rotor is turning

Removed the oil cup (to keep from splashing it all over) and cranked the engine … nothing as far as it starting.

You have me curious you are talking about suction at the carburetor intake and I seem to be experiencing back pressure, but I have not checked with my hand over the intake hose while cranking??? I will try to check this tonight.
