Well if your loooking to pull stone boat we pull a good amount of weight there and is more of a "power pit" however there we have 4000# class that you can get your H into. I pull my H in that class at a few pulls and i can stay with them. My H is 100% stock with nothing done to it. If you take those weights off you should be right there! I have the hydor pump still and belt pully still on mine and i make it. My father pulls his Super H in 4500# but its like two times the tractor. and I pull a Allis B in 2500#. If you want to pull the transfere if your tractor is stock then it will be alittle lite on power. It all depends on what you want to do, either way its good to see a new puller out there!

Today's Featured Article - Oil Bath Air Filters - by Chris Pratt. Some of us grew up thinking that an air filter was a paper thing that allowed air to pass while trapping dirt particles of a particles of a certain size. What a surprise to open up your first old tractor's air filter case and find a can that appears to be filled with the scrap metal swept from around a machine shop metal lathe. To top that off, you have a cup with oil in it ("why would you want to lubricate your carburetor?"). On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
