on my 40 h there is a shut off on the sediment bowl on the large tank.that fuel line runs over to the fitting on top of the sediment bowl on the pony tank.that sediment bowl also has a shut off on the top.so that sediment bowl screws into the bottom of the pony tank,with the fuel line from the big tank going into one side,and then feeds the carb through a line that goes out of that sediment bowl.2 bowls,2shut offs.pony tank can be shut off and fuel still feeds through from large tank.
