The plate probably has a pattern of wear marks in the surface of the plate. They may be so small that it will take direct sunlight to see them. If the plate was surfaced, how was it done with the prongs sticking out, would that help decide? THe caseih.com website does not show a disassembled pump (though it should) JimN
