I got the beast home, fired it up and she ran fine. but if I pull the throatle leaver up fast she would cut out let of and she'd save. I figured it was the carb, so I rebuilt.and installed fired it up agin and engine just ran at the same range.did all adjustments in service manual, and replaced the spring in the Govenor. Also checked gov tub to butteryfly connection and all fine.Help please!! could it be the gear in govonor? or the magneto ? I would appreciate any ideas .
