So I pulled the water jacket plate off my H like I said last week (Broke a bolt and a stud, but drilled and tapped them today with some help from a club member) So today I took a wire brush to the back of the plate where the water channels are to try to knock off some rust. Well, chunks of those channels broke off from being too rusty. So I'm thinking, if I'm going to have to replace it, now would be the time. I saw a new water jacket plate on YT for $55. That's a good chunk of change for me right now. So I'm wondering if I should just deal with what I have, or spend the money now and just set back my progress a little?
