Epoxy primer PPG Omni MP 170 will work fine, I don't know the number of the DuPont equivalent. If you are smoothing out your sheet metal you need a sandable surfacer/primer surfacer over it. Epoxy is not a "filling" primer and generally is not sandable. It can be used alone on smooth surfaces or on cast iron. It is also waterproof.
