Well first thing is the timing is not set correctly . Next ya need to fix the carb back to stock . Then do as Allen has said . Myself i would do a MAJOR tune up as in valve adjustment checking for full RPM setting curb idle. Maken sure that all intake manifold bolts are tight . Ing. timing for that engine is to be set at 22 degrees Before TDC AT FULL rated high RPM and at and idle somewhere around tdc to +5 . Next ya need to make sure that the heat riser is working . Also ya HAVE to run 93 octain gas in them . And if the govener is working the way it is suppose to they will open up when they come under load .
