I know they are both 123 cid, but they have a few differences. the 240 block is about an inch longer than the head. the SC block is the same length as the head. this may cause clearance problems with the belt tensioner pulley mount. I just got a super C with a broken block, and it came with a 240 utility for parts. my plan is to swap sleeves/crank, ect into the 240 block. has anybody actually done this swap??
