1 It is not hard to remove the hydraulic pump, just unbolt the control arm, remove filler and all the external pressure ports, then remove the sheet metal shield underneath (if it is there) then the four bolts on the bottom and it will fall out. You might want to sell it.
2 Auto parts stores sell Japanese alternators, research the archives. Why not just use a battery with no generator and keep the battery charged?
3 Removing the PTO and belt pulley are not hard, other than draining the fluid and refilling to get the PTO off. Fabricating plates to close the openings is hard. The belt pulley consumes no power until it is engaged and the PTO consumes very little. You will gain more hp by leaving the generator off than by removing the PTO.
