ok pulled the intake manifold off, so I could split the carb and make sure everything is as it should be. Pulled out all the plugs and they are really charred looking for being brand new plugs with 0 hours on them. The exhaust smells REALLY rich. Anyways took all this off and it seemed really flooded. Took the valve cover off and that is a whole other post, so will reset the valves once I figure out what the clearance is supposed to be. Hopefully the valves are far enough out that this is causing some problem.
