ok soo today, i was out disking with my Super C with the fast hitch disk. Apparently the bolts that mount the hitch to the cast lossend up and the one in the front left fell off. this put a strain on the back one and the bottom left bolt blew out of the cast taking about 1- 1 1/2" peice of cast with it. Soo luckly i find the pecie that broke! I was thinking thati would weld the peice back on the tractor. my question is how do i do a good job on welding this kind of cast? i have welded some thiner stuff before but nothing like this??????
Also i was going to put a 3/8" peice of flat stock from those two bolts that hold the hitch on to one of the taped bosses further up the case to beef everything up alittle.
