Not sure what proper name is but it is the large flat casting where the trip, springs, and lift all bolt to. It cracks where the casting is raised and what i call lift shaft is mounted in with a roll pin. The heads have not given me trouble just crack that main casting every few years, junk man says he sells quite a few a year. I have arc welded them when they start to crack but they usually keep spreading. I think Rowse makes a heavier casting, might just have to bite the bullet and buy a new one, 35 year old cast is gonna have some fatigue.
