Hugh is correct. If it has a fresh out of frame overhaul, and quality insert bearings on polished journals, and aluminum pistons, it will more than likely do well, However the cam, intake, and timing were designed for 15-1600 RPM. Cranking it higher will not radically change the peak torque RPM for heavy tillage, or real work. JimN
