FYI...all paints are not created equal and results in the stripping tank can vary. Most of my older parts the paint comes off in a sheet. Some of the pieces off of my youngest tractor (1989) which I was prettying up last summer did not strip well in the tank with lye as the electrolyte. All did eventually come off but the process was long and brushing required in between attempts. By the by, took the missus out for some shellfish a couple weeks back and we were sorely disappointed. Fresh is best and I fear we are spoiled for life!
