The highest compression is best (assuming you are driving/working the tractor, and using regular 87 octane fuel. The highest will have the most material above the cylinder when the piston is at TDC. Also a graduated beaker and water can be used to measure the popup displacement. with the water at (lets say) 100ml, dip the piston in until the dome is just submerged to the point that the fully round part of the piston touches the surface. Mark down the height of the displaced water. Doing it for the other piston will give a good comparison. From NOS, to custom forged, pistons can be had. Money is the only hill to climb.
