One thing I was trying to find out is about the control valve nearest the regulator block. On the powersteering tractors a U shaped hydraulic tube goes from it to regulator block. One used with powersteering only tractors only has one outlet hole torward front of tractor compared to 2 for non PS. If you have the PS type valve used with a non PS regulator block that may be a problem. The outlet holes have pipe plugs with regular valve and someone may have pluged single hole in PS valve if parts are switched around. Also with PS a passage is blocked with a plug beween control valve and top reservoir post,plug could be left in there if parts switched. Control valve is removed to remove plug and it may stay in post or control valve upon removing valve. Regular non PS tractor hydraulics won't work with plug in.
