I'll chime in here- had only bad luck with FRAM too. WIX is the best in my opinion. Some of the NAPA Gold filters are just re-numbered WIX filters, by the way. Had good luck with the NAPA Gold filters before another local parts house started carrying WIX. Also never had a problem with AC or Baldwin. Be interesting to find out if someone knew where all the different brands were made- how many are really the same filter just with different paint jobs and labels on them...
