But honestly, there is risk anywhere you live. That's inherent in life. We have very rare Earthquakes, and very rare heavy rain flash floods, and sometimes we get big fires. Up north they get tons of rain and gloom. Back east it's winter storms, summer hurricanes and tornados, and in the middle well, tornados, and cold temps I guess.
Some of the biggest predicted earthquakes will come from the fault in the Mississippi valley. You can't hide from risk. Just wrap yourself tight in your abestos blanket and hope for the best I guess.
