Oh and I forgot to mention those little clips hold a dust cover of sorts arond the impluse so that the dust, rocks, etc do not get back down inside the impulse or by the driveshaft.
If you take it apart be careful with the coil springs inside, I had one break when I was puttting it back together. Luckily I already had a parts one with a spring that was good.
