I sprayed mine with BP Blaster sprayed inside adjustment slots for set screw and turned and spayed it couple of times every day for 2 days then used brass pin with hammer to loosen going counter clockwise than clockwise. Brass didn't seem to hurt it. Didn't even break the repair someone made were they broke it years ago. Put anti seize on both parts when I put back together.
