Hello....a fellow named Jim gave me some good information on repairing a broken shift shaft on the range trans..he talked about removing the MCV off the side of the trans.......well.......when you take off the MCV......it has the pump attached to it somehow???.What I'm asking is....when I take the MCV off, do pieces of the pump and whatever else is there go flying , or falling all over the place???...Opening something that I don't know what is behind it scares me a little bit. any comments? .. and thanks for any responses.........ken
