Harold there,s a big question mark to me on SM tractors serial # 60001 up or SMTA series. Factory LP parts are showed in parts books for SM below 60001 and showed for 400 series tractors. One example is hoods, different hoods are shown for SM and 400 LP than hoods with other fuels. The hoods on most SMTA LP tractors are cut or shortened at rear. No where have I found a IH part # showed for a SMTA hood and other parts that would have been different than other fueled SMTA tractors. Have you or anyone? To me its one of those things that I wish I had more answers to. One other thing there's IH attachment memos on the release of regular SM LP attachments. Never found one on a SMTA. That don't mean there's not though. Were any SMTA LP assembled at IH factory unless experimental, I don't have prof enough one way or other to say.
