My 40 H does not have a petcock in the carb. bowl.There is a plug in it,and my H is a distillate.Go by the serial number.Also is there a pony tank still on this H.Or is there a hole in the hood tin where the fill spout for the pony tank went thru.Check manifold for funny looking little lever,and another thing to check would be are there louvers in front of he radiator.
