Well, when I was a kid it was 7 miles of mud to get to town. All we had that would deal with those "roads" was an 8N. We built a "carryall" to fit the 3 pt and we would all go to town for groceries, kerosene for lamps, etc, etc. Gran, who was in her 80s sat in a chair that was tied to the deck of the thing wrapped in a blanket. Us kids just sat with out lags hanging over the side and back. Do not recall any light front end issues but there was mud everywhere flung off the rear tires. Some of us fell off when the going was rough but luckily no one ever got hurt. Now no one rides on my tractors except the driver, It was fun though. Karl
