Wolfman: Right on, get em wide enough they'll slide down a hill sideways, without upset. This is one thing I always liked about duals, my 1066 was 11' outside on rear wheels.
My 11 year old daughter had pestered me to let her drive tractors. She had been operating skid steers two years, with ROPS and seat belt. Finally I gave her 1066 with 20', told her to stay well away from river, railway and elm trees. She didn't look very big in that ROPS cab. A friend dropped in, got very upset seeing this young lady wheeling that tractor and disk. I assured him she was quite capable of the task at hand, and I'll bet she wont bend a disk gang on an elm tree root like your 18 year old son did. With that he disappeared quite quickly. At the end of the day Heather had disked a 100 acres, and was looking for more.
