Like Terry said, you don"t have to split the tractor, just remove the top to the tranny/rearend. You will have to remove the belly pump too and disconect the input shaft. Do you need a replacement gear? I have a spare 2nd/3rd slider gear and I might have the gear for the bottom shaft too.
