Thanks for the reply, Yes I had a transplant going on 17 years ago. I was 36 or 37 at the time. I came down with "Nephrotic syndrome" in 1984, was treated for a couple of years and sort of went into remission, then they just decided to fail in the summer of 1990. Doing pretty good ever since, just problems with medicine side effect. One of the drugs has just about eat up all the cartilige in my hands, wrists, ankles and feet.
What caused yours? Dr. said mine was most likely a strep infection, but could have been contact with heavy metals like mercury or lead (Welding?)
